Yet another interesting development in the Paul Pogba saga. According to AS, agent Mino Raiola has cancelled Pogba’s medical with Manchester United, which the 23-year-old was expected to complete in Miami.

According to reports, the deal was not close enough to justify a medical. However, the doctor allegedly involved with the procedure, Dr Italo Linfante, has denied any knowledge of the medical which was supposedly set to take place today.

Lyon have told Arsenal they will have to pay £40m plus bonuses to sign striker Alexandre Lacazette, the Daily Mirror claims.

The French club set out their terms before Arsene Wenger moved for the 25-year-old with a bid of just £29.3m. Lyon have confirmed that the Gunners’ offer has been received and rejected.

But despite claims on Tuesday that the player is “irreplaceable”, it seems the French side are willing to do business over the £40m fee.

Liverpool are the latest side to make a move for Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Mario after the Sun claimed that the Reds have had a huge £33.5m bid for the midfielder rejected.

After selling Joe Allen to Stoke on Monday, Jurgen Klopp is keen to bolster his midfield and has reportedly identified the Portugal international as the ideal man. Mario has been linked with a number of clubs, including Chelsea and Inter Milan.

Borussia Dortmund have shot down all reports linking striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang with a move to Manchester City.

Dortmund manager Michael Zorc has made clear the club’s stance on the highly-rated 27-year-old.

“All these rumours have already followed us this summer,” he told Bild. “We can only repeat, as always, that he has a contract with us until 2020 and feels good at Borussia Dortmund – as it should remain.”

Summer 2016 Transfer Window - Done deals and rumours

Antonio Conte has issued a hands-off warning to Juventus after the Serie A side reported interest in Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic. The Serbia international’s place in the Blues squad has been thrown into doubt after a substandard 2015/16 season and the arrival of N’Golo Kante to Stamford Bridge.

“He is not for sale and I know with work he can become a fantastic midfielder, of the best in the world,” Conte said in a news conference.

Lastly, Marko Arnautovic is allegedly ready to snub interest from Everton and sign a new contract with Stoke City.

The Toffees were willing to trigger the £12.5m clause in the Austria international’s contract but were struggling to meet his personal demands, the Daily Mail writes. In a bid to combat interest, Stoke have offered Arnautovic a four-year extension which he is now mulling over.
