According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have made clear that they have no intention of selling their star man Alexis Sanchez who enjoyed a stellar summer with Chile in the Copa America. The 27-year-old was subject to a £30m offer from Juventus earlier on in the week, which the Gunners rejected, and Juve director general Giuseppe Marotta appears to have conceded defeat.

Speaking to Chilean newspaper El Murcurio, Marotta said: “Arsenal told us they have no intention of selling. Arsenal said that the Chilean attacker is non-transferable and that he is not on the market.”

Juventus are in the market for a new striker following's Alvaro Morato return to Real Madrid but it’d take more than £30m to prise the Chilean away from the Emirates.

Despite a disappointing Euro 2016, Manchester United are expected to up their pursuit of France’s Paul Pogba now that the tournament has finished. According to the Mirror, United are ready to table their reported £100m bid for the 23-year-old in the hope of bringing him back to Old Trafford.

Having established a strong working relationship with Mino Raiola, the player’s agent, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is confident United can land their man. The club are reportedly willing to pay Pogba £11.5m a year in a deal that could cost in excess of £150m.

Summer 2016 Transfer Window - Done deals and rumours

Chelsea are eyeing up a move for Lazio’s Felipe Anderson who are reportedly willing to sell the Brazilian for the right price. The forward has associated himself with Giuliano Bertolucci and Iranian agent Kia Joorabchian, who have both developed strong ties with Chelsea. Anderson had originally been linked with a move to Manchester United last summer, but it seems the Blues stand the best chance at the moment of securing the player’s signature, Gazetta World reports.

Everton have joined the race the race to sign Portugal and Sporting Lisbon star William Carvalho. The Toffees are looking to broaden their defensive midfield options and had been chasing down Zenit St Petersburg’s Axel Witsel but their pursuit for the Belgium player appears to have subsided in recent days.

New coach Ronald Koeman has now turned to Carvalho instead who will be available for £20m now that Euro 2016 has finished, the Sun writes. Everton are joined by Southampton and Premier League champions Leicester City who are similarly lining up the 24-year-old.

Liverpool’s Christian Benteke has agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace ahead of his expected move to Selhurst Park, the Mirror reports. The two clubs are still to finalise an agreement over the transfer fee, however, with Liverpool hoping to recoup the £32m they paid to Aston Villa last summer.

Palace have enjoyed a successful summer of signings so far and Benteke’s move is expected to be completed by the end of the week.

Former Manchester City man Alvaro Negredo could be on his way back to the Premier League after being sensationally linked with a move away from Valencia to newly-promoted Middlesborough.

Goal understands that the two clubs are close to settling a loan agreement which would include a non-binding purchase clause. Although the La Liga club are reportedly pursuing a permanent deal, the Teeside club are favouring a loan on account of Negredo’s dip in form over the past two seasons.
