Crystal Palace have made contact with Momo Sissoko after the former Liverpool midfielder was released by Paris Saint Germain.

The Malian midfielder has been without a club since the French giants cut him adrift during the summer and Sky Sports report that he is in London to discuss a move to Selhurst Park.

Sissoko has just turned 29-years-old and so still has a few years of service to provide to any club willing to take the risk.

Palace manager Tony Pulis is keen to strengthen his side after improving their chances of survival dramatically since arriving in November.

After spending a short period on loan with Fiorentina last season, a move back to England appears to be on the cards.

He was a hit with Liverpool and enjoyed three years before joining Juventus for £10million in 2008.

Pulis reportedly attempted to sign Sissoko while in charge of Stoke City but is now more hopeful of finally securing his signature.
