Michu insists he is happy at Swansea despite continued speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 27-year-old made his debut for Spain on Friday in the 2-1 World Cup quailifier win over Belarus, and despite failing to find the back of the net, came in for praise from manager Vicente del Bosque.

His call-up to the world and European champions has only increased speculation that he will be the subject of bids in the region of £20m - either in January or at the end of the season. Arsenal, who are searching for a striker to provide competition for Olivier Giroud, and Liverpool, who may need a replacement if Luis Suarez leaves for Real Madrid, are the two clubs most consistently linked with a bid.

Yet Michu, who agreed a new four-year deal with Swansea in January, said he is not considering a move away when asked about the possibility of signing for a "top" club.

"I am not thinking about that at the moment," he told Spanish newspaper Marca.

"I am enjoying myself very much at Swansea.

"It's a modest team but we are competing in Europe and we already won a title last season, the first in the club's history."

Michu joined Swansea for just £2m in the summer of 2012 and scored 22 goals in all competitions last term as the Swans lifted the League Cup and qualified for the Europa League.
