Manchester United have been linked once more with a move for Luke Shaw, with a bid “remaining on the table” according to ESPN. That offer is reportedly in the region of £22.5m and was first lodged during the January transfer window. United are likely to face stiff competition from Chelsea, who Shaw is a life-long fan of, should Southampton sanction his departure.

David Moyes also wants to sign Luka Modric from Real Madrid. According to caughtoffside.com, United have been keeping tabs on the former Tottenham player. While the Croatian initially struggled at the Bernabeu following his big money move to Spain, he has emerged as one of Carlo Ancelotti's key players this season.

Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna is yet to sign a new deal at the Emirates, seemingly keeping his options open with Arsene Wenger only willing to offer the Frenchman a short-term deal. He has now been linked with moves to both Chelsea and Liverpool.

Manchester United's hopes of snatching Toni Kroos away from Bayern Munich suffered a monumental blow last night when the midfielder proved just how valuable he is to the German champions. So far, Bayern have been playing hardball over a new contract, but their resolve to keep his wages down will have been softened by his display in the 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Perhaps joining Nemanja Vidic at Inter Milan next season is Tottenham's Erik Lamela. The Argentinean misfit is still not having any joy at White Hart Lane following his £25.7m move from Roma. Inter are keen, according to Metro, to bring the 21-year-old back to Serie A.
