Chris Eubank Jr and George Groves finally go head-to-head in the World Boxing Super Series semi-final tonight.

The two Britons meet in one of the most highly-anticipated British boxing match-ups in years, with two world titles on the line. Groves will be defending his WBO title, with Eubank Jr offering up the rather less respected IBO title.

Though WBA champion Groves is just 18 months older than Eubank Jr, his career has included more high-profile bruising fights against the likes of James DeGale and Badou Jack as well two bouts with Carl Froch, including one at Wembley. But Eubank Jr starts as the slight favourite.

Tonight! The fight will take place on Saturday 17 March with the ringwalks likely to take place around 10pm.

Eubank Jr: “I told him he's not ready. George ain't ready, I can see it in his eyes.

“He walked in with his shades on, he doesn't want to be here, he wants to get put into retirement so that's what we're going to do on Saturday night, I'm taking that belt home.

“This is the biggest fight of my career. I want this more than anything I've ever wanted in my life.

“George... we're on different levels, different planes; he's in a different stage of his life. He doesn't realise the danger he's in but he will find out on Saturday.

“I don't think of retirement, retirement is not a word that even comes into my mind. I've got so much more to achieve in my career.

“I think this is George's last little hurrah before he settles down, has his family and relaxes for the rest of his life. I'm going to help him on that path.”

Groves: “The Eubanks have a strange training set up down there and the dad is obviously involved,” said Groves.

“He just wants to be loved really and I think he has lost his grip on reality. He's a relic.

“Junior wants to step out of his dad's shadow. If that's the case, leave him at home. You don't need to have him around. He's either scared of taking that step on his own or he can't get rid of his dad. Either way that's a problem for him.

“But after this fight, when I win, I believe Junior will sack the dad and move back down to middleweight.”

Chris Eubank Jr enters the scrap as a slight favourite, with a price of 8/13 to win the highly anticipated face-off.

His opponent George Groves is available at 6/4 to complete the biggest victory of his short, but esteemed career thus far.
