Lamont Peterson has agreed to a rematch with Amir Khan in Las Vegas in May, the 25-year-old Bolton fighter's camp said last night.

Khan will fight the American for a second time on 19 May at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The WBA last month ordered a rematch after Peterson defeated Khan in controversial circumstances to win the WBA and IBF light-welterweight titles on 10 December.

Khan announced the bout on Twitter last night and said: "Big announcement. Khan vs Peterson 19th May, Mandalay Bay Hotel Vegas. At last I git the fight I deserve, Big..."
