The Good: Shrewsbury Town

The League Two side are unbeaten in 26 home games in all competitions after defeating Burton 1-0 on Saturday, equalling a club record set in 1978-79. "It's a victory and it's three points," their manager Graham Turner said, making sure not to get wrapped up in the excitement. "At this stage of the season that's the most important thing." The run is not as much of a new experience to Turner as it is his players – he was in his first spell as the club's manager when they achieved their previous best run.

The Bad: Sergio Garcia

Here's news to please budding golfers up and down the country, horrific rounds can also happen to the pros – Sergio Garcia hit a shocking 12 on the par-four third hole in his final round at the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Florida, hitting no fewer than four balls into the water on the 438-yard hole. It had started so well for the Spaniard too after he opened the round with an eagle, but two holes later his round began to turn from a dream into a nightmare.

The Odd: Dynamo Dresden

The Second Division German team managed to sell out its 32,066-capacity stadium for the 0-0 draw with Ingolstadt on Saturday – even though the match was played behind closed doors because of rioting at a cup match at Borussia Dortmund. In a show of support Dresden's fans went and bought all of the tickets for the game, and watched it outside the stadium on big screens, making it quite the memorable goalless draw.
