Two tries from US captain Joseph Paulo helped his side record a 32-20 victory against Cook Islands in their opening World Cup match.

Paulo's chargedown try handed his side the initiative in the second half and they eventually wrapped up the victory. The US now face Wales on Sunday, while Cook Islands are next in action against Fiji on Tuesday.
