On Monday 29 February, the publishers of the Daily Mirror will launch a new national newspaper called New Day, and WWE fans are finding the announcement hilarious.

That’s because wrestling fans have taken to the three-man faction of the same name, comprising of WWE Superstars Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods, who have developed a knack for entertaining the crowd on the microphone with talk of unicorns and regular outbreaks of dancing to the tune of an annoying trombone.

However, the trio are also talented Superstars inside the ring, leading to fans taking to them after a difficult start to life as a faction.

From receiving a chant of “New Day Sucks” when they started out, the group are now serenaded with “New Day Rocks” from the WWE universe whenever they take to the ring.

As you can see from the video below, they’re not quite all there...

So you can imagine that Wednesday’s announcement of a New Day newspaper got users on Twitter rather excited, only for them to discover that it had nothing to do with the fan favourites.

The question now is will New Day rock, or will it suck?
