Raw kicked off with Stephanie McMahon pitting Seth Rollins and Kane against Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in tag team match in the first match of the night. Reigns took care of Kane with the Superman Punch while Ambrose managed to counter Rollins' sneaky attack with the Dirty Deeds to earn the win for his team before he prepares for singles action against the WWE World Heavyweight Champion this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber.

The next match saw Rusev defeat R-Truth within two minutes by forcing him to tap out to the Accolade. Rusev was not finished in the ring as he called out Lana to settle their ongoing disputes. Lana however refused to listen to Rusev's demands and said she was finished with him before Dolph Ziggler came out and shared a long kiss with Lana in front of an angry Rusev.

King Barrett's new found dominance was halted by Ryback who defeated him with the Shell Shock. Barrett nearly won the match by signalling for the Bull Hammer but he had slapped Ryback in a cocky manner, which only infuriated The Big Guy and switched the momentum. Both men will be looking to get the win again in the Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber Match.

Lana and Dolph Ziggler taunt Rusev

Triple H had Ambrose arrested in the middle of the night for causing a cameraman to get knocked down in his match earlier on. The contract for his championship shot on Sunday had not been signed yet, which The Authority bragged about as he was escorted out of the building in a Stone Cold Steve Austin-like manner.

Bo Dallas watched on as Neville defeated Stardust with the Red Arrow. Dallas then told Neville that he can just pick himself up if he "Bolieves" before hitting his injured knee with a dropkick before smiling cockily.

Rusev interrupted Ziggler's match with Sheamus by staring at Lana before charging down to the ring. Ziggler however Superkicked the Bulgarian while he climbed the apron but the distraction allowed Sheamus to pick up the win with the Brogue Kick. After the match Rusev beat down on Ziggler and screamed at him to try and kiss Lana now.

Zack Ryder, John Cena and the cast of Entourage

The cast of Entourage introduced Zack Ryder to respond to John Cena's open challenge on his home town of Long Island. Ryder gave Cena a fair contest but the United States Champion finally picked up the win with the AA. Kevin Owens then came out to land a second Pump Up Powerbomb to Cena two weeks in a row as he prepares to take him on this Sunday.

Tamina defeated Paige with the Samoan drop with the help of an interference by Naomi. Nikki Bella will join Paige and Naomi on Sunday as she defends her Divas Championship in a Triple Threat Match.

The Authority attack Roman Reigns

To end the night, Reigns was attacked by the whole of The Authority in the ring and was unable to turn the tables. An arrest was however not enough to stop Ambrose, who turned up to the arena in a police van and uniform to even the odds for his team-mate. The Lunatic Fringe attacked everyone with a nightstick before signing the contract to make his match official at the Elimination Chamber this weekend.
