Dennis Rodman of the Chicago Bulls has been suspended for one game without pay and fined $7,500 by the National Association for deliberately striking Milwaukee's Joe Wolf in the groin during Monday's 108-90 victory over the Bucks. Earlier this season, Rodman was suspended 11 games and fined $25,000 for kicking a cameraman in the groin during a game at Minnesota.

The Birmingham coach, Nick Nurse, yesterday won the Budweiser League "coach of the month" award after his side moved into title contention following eight successive wins during February. John White, the Leopards guard, is the "player of the month".
