Marshawn Lynch has a dreadlock ripped out but carries on as if nothing happened

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has a reputation as one of the meanest players in the NFL.

With the nickname 'Beast Mode', the 28-year-old is more than 15 stones of solid muscle sometimes incapable of being tackled.

Lynch has now only served to enhance his reputation in the sport after an incident on Sunday.

Playing against the Denver Broncos - the team Seattle dominated in February's Super Bowl - Lynch ran for a first down but had one of his dreadlocks pulled out by Broncos defender TJ Ward.

We all know how painful having your hair pulled is, but Lynch shrugged it off and went to collect his missing lock.

The game may have been a lot closer than the 43-8 thrashing it had been in the Super Bowl but Lynch was clearly unaffected by his missing hair.

After being 17-3 up, the Broncos battled back to 20-20 to send the game to overtime.

But it was Lynch who provided the decisive moment running in a six-yard touchdown, part of a 128-yard, two touchdown game, to give the Seahawks the win.
