NFL week six: Miami Dolphins stun Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants fight back to beat Baltimore Ravens

New England, New Orleans and Jacksonville all record victories, but the Carolina Panthers' poor form continued while Colin Kaeperknick's return ended in a heavy defeat

The Miami Dolphins handed the Pittsburgh Steelers their second loss of the season in an upset 30-15 win in Florida.

Jay Ajayi ran for 204 yards and two touchdowns as the Dolphins improved to 2-4 on the season.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was held to 189 passing yards - most of them on a 97-yard fourth-quarter drive - and missed one series with a left knee injury.

However, the Baltimore Ravens could not take advantage of Pittsburgh's loss as they blew an early 10-0 lead to lose 27-23 to the New York Giants.

Odell Beckham Jr shook off an injury to score the game-winning touchdown, turning a fourth-and-1 play into a 66-yard catch and run for the score with 84 seconds left. Beckham finished with 222 yards.

Tom Brady enjoyed his return to Foxborough as he threw for three touchdowns and his 5,000th career completion in a 35-17 win for the New England Patriots over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Brady, playing his first home game since his four-game suspension to open the season, piled up 376 yards, with tight end Rob Gronkowski collecting seven passes for a career-high 162 yards and a touchdown.

Wil Lutz booted a 52-yard field goal with 16 seconds left as the New Orleans Saints beat the Carolina Panthers 41-38 to condemn the defending NFC champions to their fifth loss in six this season.

After the Saints went 21-0 up in the second quarter, the Panthers battled their way back and tied the game at 38-38 with 3:04 left when Cam Newton found Devin Funchess for the two-point conversion after his own two-yard run to score.

Newton, cleared to play after a concussion, threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns but was outshone by New Orleans' Drew Brees, who piled up 465 yards and four touchdown passes.

Colin Kaepernick again drew attention for his ongoing protest against the national anthem, but could not put on a show on the field in his first start of the season as the San Francisco 49ers lost 45-16 to the Buffalo Bills in upstate New York. The Bills have now won four straight for the first time since 2008.

Arrelious Benn's late touchdown lifted the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 17-16 road win over the Chicago Bears.

Benn was slipping as he reeled in a 51-yard throw from Blake Bortles, who finished the game with 271 yards as the Jaguars rallied from 13-0 down for their second win of the season.

The Washington Redskins got the better of one of the NFL's best defences as Kirk Cousins threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Redskins had a total of 493 offensive yards as they won their fourth consecutive game to move above the Eagles and go second in the NFC East.

Matt Prater's 34-yard field goal with 1:29 left lifted the Detroit Lions to a 31-28 win over the Los Angeles Rams while Marcus Mariota threw for 284 yards and three touchdowns as the Tennessee Titans edged out Cleveland 28-26, leaving the Browns at 0-6 and enduring their worst start to a season since 1999.

Elsewhere, Spencer Ware's career-best 131 yards helped the Kansas City Chiefs to a 26-10 win over the Los Angeles Raiders while Steve Hauschka kicked a 44-yard field goal in the final two minutes to give the Seattle Seahawks a 26-24 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

Dak Prescott inspired the Dallas Cowboys to a 30-16 win over the Green Bay Packers and the Houston Texans beat the Indianapolis Colts 26-23 in overtime.
