Georgia State coach Ron Hunter falls out of his chair after son RJ hits miracle game-winning shot with just 2.6 seconds left

Hunter was only sitting in his chair because he had torn his Achilles - celebrating his team's previous win on Sunday

Georgia State coach Ron Hunter needs to calm down.

After his team made the NCAA basketball tournament for the first time since 2001 - and second time since 1991 - Hunter tore his Achilles in celebration and had to be carried off the court.

That left him having to sit in an office chair for the whole of Panthers' game against the highly fancied Baylor Bears, who entered the game as the third-ranked team in the country.

Baylor were in charge for most of the game, holding a 12-point lead at one point, but gradually allowed their opponents to climb back.

Still, they a had the lead with just under five seconds left - that was before coach Hunter called a play for his son, RJ.

With the clock running down, the 21-yea-old heaved up a miracle shot from 35ft with a hand in his face.

It went in, everyone in the building went mad, especially proud dad Ron, who ended up falling off his chair.

Speaking after the game he said: "I know I broke something else but it doesn't even matter".

Georgia State next play the No 6 ranked Xavier Musketeers on Saturday.
