16 ways to get rid of exam notes.mp4

Exam preparation usually involves hours of revision and hundreds of sheets of paper which usually end up in a bin or worse, burned in a celebratory bonfire, at the end of the year.

Year 12 student Rebecca Swain from Sidney, Australia, has sixteen better ideas of how to dispose of those useless notes.

Ms Swain made a under 2 minutes montage, which she then posted on Facebook with the caption: “When ur [sic] procrastination reaches a whole new level”. It has since been watched by over 17,000 people.

Her ideas for reusing the paper notes include writing love letters on the back side of an essay, making relaxing face masks and handing them out door-by-door and even selling them on eBay.

Speaking to The Sunday Morning Herald newspaper, Ms Swain explained that she recorded the video between exams and the sheets of paper used were mostly practice English essays.

Although it felt very good to get rid of all those papers, she was “a little bit nervous to put [the video] up”.

“Because I thought, it's just going to be my mum and dad who like it … [but] it was also posted to an HSC discussion group so I think a lot of people saw it and might have related to the insanity."

This is the first video Mrs Swain has shared online, although she says she has been making "crazy videos" since she was a kid.

"The fact the first video I posted was such a huge success was really exciting … I'm definitely thinking about doing more."
