History: The Lisbon MBA is a partnership between the two top business schools in Portugal, Católica-Lisbon and Nova SBE. Created in 2007 as part of a program of expansion and internationalisation of higher education in Portugal, the Lisbon MBA includes a two year part-time MBA and an International full-time MBA, in partnership with MIT’s prestigious Sloan School of Management.

Ambience: Lisbon is a city rich in history and culture encompassing several areas in the region. Vital statistics: The Lisbon MBA has small classes with 30 to 40 students per year. This allows full dedication in class and career support. The Lisbon MBA International runs from January to December in a full-time schedule (12 months) while The Lisbon MBA Part Time runs for 22 months in post-laboral schedule. Both programs are lectured in English.

Easy to get into? You will need to possess a degree in any subject, minimum three years of working experience, GMAT or GRE and an English fluency exam (TOEFL or IELTS, CAE or CPE).

International connections: In one year, you can study on three different continents. The Lisbon MBA International students take a one month MIT Sloan immersion in Boston and they can also choose to take an International Lab. The average number of international students is between 25 and 38 per cent per year.

Cost: The Lisbon MBA International - €35,000 and The Lisbon MBA Part Time - €21,000. The tuition fees are paid in several installments throughout the year and you can also benefit from The Lisbon MBA loans and scholarships.

Return on investment: Despite the challenging economic times, three months after graduation 80 per cent of students accepted a full-time job offer.
