THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Located just outside the fishing village of Portscatho, The Rosevine sits on a beautiful stretch of coastline on the Roseland Peninsula, with the South West Coastal Path a five-minute walk from the hotel. It's a 15-minutes walk to Portscatho and a further hour to the fashionable St Mawes, where you can pick up the passenger ferry across the water to Falmouth.
By car: The Rosevine is around 6 hours from London and 3 hours 30 mins from Bristol. Parking is available on-site.
By train: the nearest stations are Truro and St Austell, both are a 30min taxi ride from the hotel. Book trains to Truro or St Austell.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
Ideal for couples and families alike, this Georgian-style house provides an understated coastal-boutique aesthetic, where modern elegance is fused with heritage features. Many of the interiors are sourced locally to support the community, some of which have been upcycled and chalk-painted, sitting alongside Loyd Loom furnishings, large comfy sofas and antique pieces, with a backdrop of greys, tranquil greens and whites.

FOOD AND DRINK
The light-filled dining room with French shutters and sea vistas offers a relaxed setting to sample quality Cornish produce. Honing in on its beachside location, dining is laidback with dishes inspired by the abundance of great native produce. Daily-changing seasonal menus include grilled fillets of plaice, Cornish 8oz ribeye steak and battered catch-of-the-day.
The restaurant: modern British cuisine, seafood, local produce. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Three courses from £39 per person.
