THE LOOK AND FEEL

Built as a military hospital in 1809 during the Napoleonic wars, Berry Head Hotel now manages to strike the right balance between traditional and modern. Renovations have been subtle, keeping the heritage of the building in mind. Large windows ensure the striking sea views steal the show, whilst open fires, comfy leather sofas and grand palm-lined terraces create a relaxed vibe.

THE FACILITIES

Settle into one of the traditional lounge areas or contemporary bar and brasserie. There is a large terrace and pretty gardens to enjoy, all with sea views. There's also an indoor swimming pool with a sauna and hot tub, as well as outdoor boules or croquet. Explore the walled gardens and woodland at your leisure. The staff at Berry Head can't do enough to make you feel welcome.
