Great getaways: On track with Eurostar to Germany, Turkish delight, spring break to Sicily and Bali break

Eurostar has started selling tickets to six German cities, following a partnership with Deutsche Bahn. Travellers can now go on the website and purchase one through ticket to Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich, with one-way fares from London St Pancras available from £49.50. All involve a change of trains at Brussels Midi (eurostar.com).

Turkish delight

Explore is offering discounts on tours to Turkey this summer, when booked by 6 February. Examples include the 15-day "Cappadocia, Mountains and Coast Adventure", which explores the country's volcanic landscape, dramatic mountains and underground cities, with white-water rafting and camping under the stars. With departures from May to September, it costs £1,135pp including Turkish Airlines flights from Heathrow to Istanbul, B&B hotels and six other meals (explore.co.uk).

Italian isle

Citalia has a seven-night spring break in Sicily for £815pp. Departing with easyJet flights from Manchester on 6 April, the package includes B&B at the four-star Excelsior Palace in the lovely town of Taormina, known for its clifftop Greco-Roman amphitheatre with views of Mount Etna (citalia.com).

Bali break

On 5 May, Trailfinders has a five-star stay at the Conrad resort in Bali for £999pp. Located on a prime stretch of beach in Nusa Dua, the hotel offers a Jiwa Spa, huge pool and an array of Mediterranean, Balinese and Japanese restaurants.
