Tomorrow: Check into the new Revere Hotel in Boston which opened this week, with 356 room and suites, a bistro-style restaurant and, later this month, the Emerald Lounge cocktail bar (reverehotel.com).
The World Shakespeare Festival starts today on the Bard's official birthday as part the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. There will be over 70 productions, staged in Stratford-upon-Avon and a host of other venues across the UK, before the curtain falls in November (worldshakespearefestival.org.uk). And Ibiza gets a new beach club as Amante opens on the east coast (amanteibiza.com)
