The man who soared to public infamy when he raised the cost of a drug used by HIV patients by more than 5,500 per cent, has launched an odd attack on the rapper Ghostface Killah.

In a video interspersed with expletives that was posted online, Martin Shkreli poses with a group of friends and turns his sarcasm to the Wu-Tang Clan’s singer, whose real name is Dennis Coles.

“You're not a Ghost Killah, I'm sorry,” says Shkreli.

”You think it's OK to beef with me. But that’s a big mistake ... you're an old man who has lost his relevance.”

The Wu-Tang Clan’s singer, whose real name is Dennis Coles, recently called Mr Shkreli the "Michael Jackson nose kid"

The 32-year-old Shrekli is currently free on $5m bond after being arrested on federal charges of securities fraud. He had previously revealed that in December he spent $2m to buy the sole copy of the band’s album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.

Coles said he was unimpressed that Mr Shkreli had raised the price of the drugs, what are also used by pregnant women.

“You don’t take some AIDs pill that you have for what $7 and then make it like $800,” he told TMZ, describing the former hedge fund manager as the “Michael Jackson nose kid”.

In his video, in which he poses with three masked friends, Mr Shkreli threatens the singer: “Without me, you're nothing So don’t ever mention my name again, or there’ll be more of a price to pay than this video.”
