I thoroughly enjoyed watching Peter and Wendy, as it had a clever twist to the normal Peter Pan story, I was definitely hooked. Since I have never been to a premiere, it was good to see what happens and meet the actors.

Hazel, who played Wendy and Lucy Rose, asked me if she had played the part well. I explained that my experience at GOSH has many similarities and many of her thoughts and feelings I have experienced throughout my illness.

I think the story shows how tough things can be at GOSH for its many patients and their families.

After watching the premiere, I was going to meet Stanley Tucci and I felt a little nervous after watching him on the big screen. But really these actors are normal people and have a beating heart like me. He was very easy to talk to and not at all like Captain Hook.

I want to thank the fantastic team at GOSH that look after me, who allowed me to have a night on the town in London, as long as I was back on the ward before midnight. I did get to go to the ball. The whole experience was brilliant.
