Earlier this month we learned that a man named Michael Green was so incensed by Conservative Party chairman Grant Shapps using “his name” that he decided to stand against him in the general election. Here, the mysterious Mr Green is unmasked, as the artist formerly known as Heydon Prowse - co-creator of the Bafta award-winning *The Revolution Will Be Televised* who has changed his name by deed poll.

Hi there! I’m web millionaire Michael Green and I own a convertible … two in fact. But that’s beside the point. Let me tell you why I’m writing this piece. For some time ago now an imposter in heart of Parliament was pretending to be me – taking credit for my success as the creator of such renowned online courses as ‘How to get Filthy Stinking Rich Online’. That man is Tory Party chairman Grant Shapps. Mr Shapps took my identity, so I plan to take his seat: this general election I'm running against him in the constituency of Welwyn Hatfield to prove once and for all who the real Michael Green is.

It's understandable that Grant might have wanted to take my identity. I'm a veritable captain of industry for the internet age (the industry being creating phoney (ie automated) websites to pump Google AdWords for cash). I haven’t let it go to my head, though. I’m just a humble guy with a private plane and a six bedroom house with a south facing garden.

I don’t know much about this Shapps character. According his Wikipedia page he appears to be a canny political operator, a top notch bloke and a demon in the sack. But look – just the other day I bought my above averagely attractive wife a seven-seater luxury Grand Voyager complete with in-car DVD, SatNav and a fridge to store non-alcoholic beverages for a fun day out. What I mean to say is that I’m not the kind of guy that has much left to prove in life. I’m not going to stand here pretending to know about this politics stuff and pitch you a bunch of fancy policies. But what I do know about is wealth creation – and I’m not just talking about my own!

It’s very hard for me to put a number on how many people I’ve made into millionaires with my fantastically successful Get-Wealthy-Fast Tutorials (not to be confused with those dodgy Get-Rich-Quick Schemes which I abhor). With my ‘20/20 Challenge’ eBook I taught people a fail safe way of making $20,000 in 20 days by creating their own online guides to sell to others (and recruiting 100 'Joint Venture Partners' along the way). Some cynics have suggested this could sound like little more than a pyramid scheme. But it’s well known that I use the completely reliable and totally above board triangle model.

A vote for me is a vote for my kind of lifestyle. That’s right, elect me and every member of the constituency will get a free copy of my wealth creation course for the discounted price of $197. Want a Ferrari in your driveway – vote for me! Want a conservatory extension – vote for me! Don’t take my word for it, however, read these testimonials from completely real people:

Dr JLM Richards of the Wallerson Trust in Dallas, Texas: ‘At first I was sceptical of Mr Green’s claims, but when I saw the money rolling in I ate my hat … Literally!’

Corinne Stockheath of Surrey: ‘Michael Green is probably the most trustworthy person I have ever met.’

What Britain needs is MPs with real life experience like me — not double life experience like Mr Shapps. If he really wanted to be like me, then maybe he should have download one of my courses. Vote Michael Green Results Guaranteed! *
