Remember him? He's got a glass eye, a hook for a hand, used to preach hate from Finsbury Park mosque, but couldn't be deported because successive Home Secretaries came up against the fact of his human rights. The Sun is delighted to give us an update today: “RANTING Abu Hamza is finally to be kicked out of the UK after European judges rejected his appeal against deportation. The hook-handed hate cleric and four other terror suspects had claimed they faced ill-treatment in a US “supermax” jail.”

The distinguished prose stylists in Wapping continue: "But last night the European Court of Human Rights ruled that its April decision that the men can be sent to America must stand. Hamza, 54, and the others will be booted out in days. Home Secretary Theresa May welcomed the decision. A spokesman said: 'We will work to ensure they are handed over to the US authorities as quickly as possible.'Hamza is in London’s Belmarsh Prison. He was jailed for seven years in 2006 for soliciting to murder and inciting racial hatred. In the States, he faces 11 charges related to the taking of 16 hostages in Yemen in 1998, advocating violent jihad in Afghanistan in 2001 and conspiring to establish a jihad training camp in Bly, Oregon. His four other men are accused of involvement with Osama bin Laden in the bombing of US embassies. All five could get life sentences in America."
