Critics acclaimed his last album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy as a masterpiece - but now Kanye West is getting props for his prowess in a very different field. Reacting to news that two sex tapes featuring the rapper are being floated to the highest bidder, gossip website TMZ.com heralded Kanye as a "sex tape master" - his sessions on camera apparently lasting over an hour in total.
"And we're talking constant action. Seriously, the guy takes no breaks. It's incredible. Almost Sting-like."
This bro-like backslapping couldn't be further from the leering disapproval that tends to greet tapes in which the star is a female celebrity. Can you imagine Paris or Tulisa or Kanye's current squeeze Kim Kardashian getting the same rave reviews?
Gawker adds that the tape's anonymous seller has been offered $1million for the exclusive rights to its distribution by porn industry pioneers Sex.com - but that Kanye's lawyers have sent cease and desist letters to a number of media outlets warning against publication of any material from the films.
