Tom Cruise brings London to a standstill

As if people didn't already find Tom Cruise annoying, many were left frustrated on Sunday when Trafalgar Square and surrounding streets were shut down for filming.

Filming scenes for his new movie 'All You Need Is Kill', Tom Cruise dropped in by helicopter to do battle with aliens yesterday - and no, it's not anything to do with Scientology.

A Westminster City spokesman apparently revealed that although Londoners would not benefit financially from the filming "It raises the profile of the city and is good for tourism."

Forget the Olympics, all thanks to Cruise and team for making London a more appealing place to visit.
