A 9-year-old girl from Salt Lake City has become an internet star after footage of her stunning season in a local pee wee American football team went viral, bodychecking all number of macho stereotypes in the process.

Sam Gordon competed for a spot on the Gremlins as the only girl up against 171 other boys. She aced the trials, snagged the position of quarterback, and has posted 1,911 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns so far this season.
