James Corden gave his popular late night show segment Carpool Karaoke a shake-up during the Grammys last night.
The British host, who was presenting the awards ceremony for the second year running, swapped a car for the subway as he sang to passengers alongside Sting and Shaggy.
As they launched into The Police frontman's track “Every Breath You Take,” a commuter, dressed as a builder, was having none of it.
“Hey fellas, knock it off,” he warns, as the singing trio move down the carriage t perform a rendition of Shaggy's most famous hit “It Wasn't Me.”
These commuters were equally as frustrated with the noise with one woman - pointing at Corden - says: “No one wants to hear you sing.” Corden's reply? “I think a lot of millennials would disagree.”
As they give it one last go with Sting and Shaggy's duet “Don't Make Me Wait” - taken from their new collaborative record 44/876 - the builder (an actor, don't worry) returns and, after a war of words with the Grammys host, punches him in the face leading to the below exchange:
Sting: Whose stupid idea was this?
Shaggy: It wasn't Me
