  • Inspired by a true story, the Richard Gadd series follows a comic who is relentlessly stalked and harassed.
  • Mr Bates vs the Post Office, which sparked a public inquiry into wrongful accusations against subpostmasters, Rivals, and Slow Horses each received six nominations.
  • David Tennant, Gary Oldman, and Toby Jones are nominated for Leading Actor, while Anna Maxwell Martin, Billie Piper, and Monica Dolan are nominated for Leading Actress.
  • Strictly Come Dancing was snubbed in the Entertainment category following behind-the-scenes bullying allegations levelled by Amanda Abbington.
