Succession star slams ‘woke’ culture as he receives criticism

Brian Cox has defended his temper outbursts during rehearsals, dismissing criticism as "woke nonsense".
The actor was reportedly reported to Equity last year following an incident during rehearsals for 'A Long Day’s Journey Into Night'.
Cox argued that actors of his generation commonly lost their temper, contrasting it with modern intolerance for such behaviour.
Co-stars from 'Succession', including Sarah Snook, Peter Friedman, and J Smith-Cameron, have previously described Cox's on-set presence as "terrifying" or "frightening".
Cox clarified that when he loses his temper, it is directed at himself rather than others.
