Chris Watson, the father of Harry Potterstar Emma Watson, has warned the parents of the actors cast in the upcoming TV adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s series to be prepared for drastic changes in their children's lives.
Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout will play Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, respectively.
Watson's father told Times Radio that not watching movies helped his family “keep [Emma’s] feet on the ground”.
Meanwhile, former Game of Thrones child star Isaac Hempstead Wright advised the new actors to “enjoy every minute of it” and “take every opportunity it affords” them.
The new Harry Potter series, set to be a faithful adaptation of Rowling's books, will have Rowling as an executive producer.
