Action star reveals key differences in working for Marvel and DC
‘Superman’ reboot: First look at James Gunn's new trailer
Actor Frank Grillo, who has starred in both Marvel and DC films, has highlighted the differing methods of the two superhero studios.
Grillo said he felt more "secure" working with DC due to receiving complete scripts, contrasting this with Marvel's "fly by the seat of your pants" approach, often involving unfinished screenplays.
Grillo has played Brock Rumlow (Crossbones) in Marvel films and recently returned to DC as Rick Flag Sr in James Gunn's Superman and other projects.
Fellow actor Alan Cumming, reprising his role as Nightcrawler for Marvel, echoed Grillo's concerns about unfinished scripts.
James Gunn, co-head of DC Studios, has criticised the practice of making films without finished screenplays, attributing it to the decline of the movie industry.
