George Michael’s estate reacts to Taylor Swift collaboration

Taylor Swift's new album, "The Life of a Showgirl", is scheduled for release tomorrow, October 3.
The album includes a song titled "Father Figure", which features an interpolation of George Michael's 1987 hit of the same name.
George Michael's estate expressed their delight and approval for the collaboration, stating that Michael would have welcomed the association.
Due to the interpolation, George Michael is credited as a co-writer on Swift's "Father Figure", alongside Swift, Max Martin, and Shellback.
Swift's new record follows her engagement to Travis Kelce and her reacquisition of master recordings, and is anticipated to top international charts.
