Renowned composer Hans Zimmer overcame his vertigo to perform on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, a feat documented in his new film Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert.
The documentary features Zimmer and his orchestra performing scores from iconic films like Gladiator, Dune, The Lion King, and Interstellar, along with interviews with collaborators such as Denis Villeneuve, Christopher Nolan, Timothée Chalamet, and Zendaya.
Zimmer proposed to his partner, Dina De Luca, onstage at the O2 Arena in London.
His score for Dune: Part Two was deemed ineligible for the Oscars due to rules about using pre-existing themes from previous films.
Zimmer expressed interest in performing at Glastonbury Festival in the future.
