EastEnders star axed after nearly two decades on BBC soap

  • The offensive remark was reportedly made in November at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom during filming for Strictly.
  • Borthwick earlier issued an apology for his words, while disability equality charity Scope condemned his language and urged him to educate himself.
