Cast revealed for The Social Network sequel

Jesse Eisenberg will not reprise his role as Mark Zuckerberg in the forthcoming sequel to David Fincher’s 2010 drama, The Social Network.
Jeremy Strong will take over the role of Zuckerberg in the new film, titled The Social Reckoning, joined by Jeremy Allen White, Mikey Madison, and Bill Burr.
Aaron Sorkin is writing and directing the follow-up, which is based on The Wall Street Journal’s “The Facebook Files” investigation.
The sequel will explore how Facebook prioritised profit over safety, endangering teens’ mental health and fueling the spread of misinformation.
Production is expected to begin next month, with the film scheduled for release on 9 October 2026.
