  • Despite publicly stating at the time that the topless shoots were "empowering", Hazell admitted she was "mortified" and felt deep shame, hating her appearance and the attention.
  • She explained that she lied about her true feelings to maintain her male fanbase and prevent them from feeling shame for enjoying the photos.
  • Hazell's career was launched after winning The Sun's Page 3 competition in 2004, and although she earned as little as £250 per shoot, the money was "life-changing."
  • Her last Page 3 appearance was in 2009. The Sun stopped publishing Page 3 photos in 2015.
