‘Horrendous coincidence’: Mark Wright sorry for post after Air India tragedy
Indian PM visits British lone survivor of Air India crash in hospital
Mark Wright, the former The Only Way is Essex star, has apologised for an “inappropriate” Instagram post shared shortly after the Air India plane crash that killed over 250 people.
The post, featuring Wright, his wife Michelle Keegan, and their baby in front of a private jet, complained about leg room on standard planes.
Followers criticised the timing of the post, prompting Wright to remove it and explain it was pre-scheduled before the crash.
Wright called it a “horrendous coincidence” and apologised “for this mistake and any offence caused”.
The Air India flight crashed in Gujarat five minutes after takeoff, and a British national was the sole survivor. An investigation has been initiated with UK team involvement.
