‘Horrendous coincidence’: Mark Wright sorry for post after Air India tragedy

  • Mark Wright, the former The Only Way is Essex star, has apologised for an “inappropriate” Instagram post shared shortly after the Air India plane crash that killed over 250 people.
  • The post, featuring Wright, his wife Michelle Keegan, and their baby in front of a private jet, complained about leg room on standard planes.
  • Followers criticised the timing of the post, prompting Wright to remove it and explain it was pre-scheduled before the crash.
  • Wright called it a “horrendous coincidence” and apologised “for this mistake and any offence caused”.
  • The Air India flight crashed in Gujarat five minutes after takeoff, and a British national was the sole survivor. An investigation has been initiated with UK team involvement.
