- The Black Sabbath frontman passed away on 22 July at the age of 76, having been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019.
- Thousands of tributes from fans worldwide have been laid at the Black Sabbath Bench in Birmingham, Ozzy's home city.
- The Osbourne family visited the bench last Wednesday to lay their own flowers during a cortege procession.
- Birmingham City Council began collecting the tributes on Monday to preserve them respectfully before handing them over to the Osbourne family.
