Chris Robshaw's wife, Camilla Kerslake, criticised Strictly Come Dancing for casting contestants with significant prior dance experience, labelling it "wild" and "unfair".
Her comments followed the last-minute inclusion of former Love Island winner Amber Davies, who has a background in musical theatre and dance.
Davies defended her participation, explaining that ballroom and Latin dancing require different techniques compared to her West End stage experience.
Another contestant, Emmerdale star Lewis Cope, also has previous dance experience from performing in West End productions.
Separately, viewers expressed concern for model Ellie Goldstein after she appeared visibly upset following her first dance, though she later clarified her emotional state was not due to being upset.
