Former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw, 39, is preparing for his debut on Strictly Come Dancing, where he is partnered with professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova.
Robshaw, who retired from rugby in 2022, said he wants to find new adrenaline and learn a new skill outside his “comfort zone”.
He admitted to some nerves, but said he thinks they are good: “It focuses the mind, focuses the body.”
Robshaw also said he was grateful to train with Bychkova, who he described as “a top, world-class professional”.
The first live show of the new series, featuring 15 celebrity contestants, will screen this Saturday at 6.55pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
