Tim Allen forgives father’s killer after hearing Erika Kirk speech

Erika Kirk 'forgives' Charlie's killer in emotional tribute at memorial service
  • Actor Tim Allen has announced that he has forgiven the man responsible for his father's death over 60 years ago.
  • Allen's father, Gerald Dick, died in a car crash caused by a drunk driver in 1964 when Allen was 11 years old.
  • “I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: ‘I forgive the man who killed my father,’” Allen wrote on X.
  • He said his decision was inspired by Erika Kirk, who publicly forgave the man accused of assassinating her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
  • Kirk was assassinated on 10 September at Utah Valley University; 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been charged with his murder.
