Tristan Rogers, the actor best known for his role as Robert Scorpio on the soap opera General Hospital, has died at the age of 79.
He passed away on Friday morning following a battle with lung cancer, a diagnosis he had announced last month.
His manager confirmed Rogers was never a smoker, and stated that his role as Robert Scorpio, which he played on and off for 45 years, “meant everything to him.”
Rogers is survived by his wife, two children, and a grandchild.
