Musicians take brunt of Trump’s ire in new social media attacks

  • US President Donald Trump has renewed his attacks on Taylor Swift, claiming in a post on Truth Social that she is "no longer hot".
  • Mr Trump initially criticised Ms Swift after she endorsed Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election.
  • He has repeatedly mocked the pop superstar since, including referencing her being booed at the Super Bowl when she attended to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
  • Mr Trump also targeted Bruce Springsteen on social media, criticising his music and political views.
  • That attack came after the rocker called the Trump administration "corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous".
