Twilight creator hints at vampire series’ future 20 years after debut
Brand new Twilight trailer
Stephanie Meyer has teased that she has more stories planned for her best-selling Twilightseries of vampire romance novels.
Meyer stated that while Bella and Edward's story concluded in Breaking Dawn, she has outlined other narratives that may or may not be published.
She expressed surprise that fans still care about the series two decades after the first book's release, calling it “really, really flattering”.
Meyer believes her novels capture the feeling of falling in love, particularly a “doomed” love that ultimately has a happy ending.
Netflix is developing an animated series based on Midnight Sun, a companion novel retelling the first book from Edward's perspective, with Meyer serving as an executive producer.
