CCTV captured tourist’s ‘irresponsible’ act with ‘Van Gogh’ chair
- A tourist damaged a Swarovski crystal-covered "Van Gogh" chair by Nicola Bolla at the Palazzo Maffei art museum in Verona.
- CCTV footage shows a man and a woman posing for pictures with the chair before the man sits on it, causing it to collapse.
- The pair then left the room after the artwork was damaged.
- The museum stated that the "irresponsible gesture" caused serious damage to the delicate artwork; however, it has since been repaired.
