A new study has identified the most stressful airports across the United States by analysing five key factors.
The stress levels were determined by equally weighting passenger volume, average departure and arrival delays, cancellation rates, and Google ratings.
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport in Colorado was ranked as the most stressful, receiving a stress score of 4.95.
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport experiences a nine per cent flight cancellation rate and an average departure delay of 45 minutes.
Notably, major hubs in cities like New York and Los Angeles did not feature in the top 10, with Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport being the only large airport to make the list at number nine.
