Emma Watson, last seen in the 2019 film 'Little Women', has spoken about the challenges of working in Hollywood.
She found it difficult to make friends in the entertainment industry, having expected the same close-knit community as on the 'Harry Potter' sets.
Watson explained that most colleagues were focused on their careers and roles, leading to what she described as 'bone-breakingly painful' rejection for her.
She admitted she wasn't 'thick-skinned' enough for the highly competitive environment but is proud she maintained her 'humanity' through the experience.
Watson also revealed she does not miss the promotional aspect of acting, finding it 'soul-destroying', and has since taken a step back from her acting career.
