  • A new biography, Gwyneth: The Biography by Amy Odell, alleges Gwyneth Paltrow gave Winona Ryder the derogatory nickname “Vagina Ryder”.
  • The book claims Paltrow used the nickname in the late 1990s, believing Ryder fabricated robbery stories for attention while dating Matt Damon.
  • Odell interviewed over 220 people for the book, but Paltrow's team declined participation after Odell refused to allow Paltrow to “fact-check” the content.
  • The biography also suggests Paltrow took the lead role in the 1998 film Shakespeare in Love from Ryder.
  • Paltrow previously alluded to a “frenemy” who tried to “take her down” in a 2009 Goop blog post, which has been linked to her rumored feud with Ryder.
